I bought this as a lockdown project, however due to health condition am unable to finish, there is not a lot left to do!
It has a Volvo Penta AQAD40B 165HP DIESEL ENGINE.
Engine has been removed stripped and rebuilt with recon injectors, new heater plugs, all new gaskets and seals, repainted and put back in the boat. Engine runs really well and when stripped down showed no signs of wear in the cylinders, all valves were removed from the head, pressure tested and valves re-seated with new stem seals. Also made a new engine loom with original plugs so it will plug straight back in to the Volvo clocks at the helm.

The Drive is a Volvo Penta Duo prop DP280.
This was also removed from the boat along with the transom shield, the transom shield was stripped down cleaned and painted and re-assembled with new bushes on the steering fork and re-fitted with new transom seal and bolts.
The actual drive is still in my garage, currently painted in grey primer after being stripped down to check all gears and bearings, only required new shims on the gearbox, it was re-assembled with all new seals and pressure tested, I have new oil and brand new props yet to be fitted.

The boat
itself is in great condition, lots of deck space and a nice size cab, it comes with all new led lights (need fitting!) , electric windless for anchor and a Lowrance 9 inch gps/ fish-finder.

Trailer
There is a yard trailer for the boat but it has been stood for about 4 years and would require work before putting the boat on it. The actual chassis is solid but will require 4 new suspension units and possibly 4 new wheels but this will go free with the boat if required!

To Summarise
I would say there is a couple of days work left on the boat, it would also need a good clean and machine polish, deck is solid but would benefit from fresh paint. I have everything you need to finish the project including brand new props. It would need an HIAB to be removed or a suitable trailer; (the trailer will not carry it until repaired). I really didn’t want to sell this as I’ve always wanted a Wilson Flyer 24 with inboard diesel. I now require a full knee replacement and an hernia opp so cant Finnish it due to health.

PLEASE no timewasters or dreamers this is an absolute bargain and will be a superb boat worth 15k + when finished.
