Perkins 4108 42hp diesel engine. Installed 2014, however was manufactured in 1977 and stored as an unused spare by the MOD. Engine hours 700.

Built in 1941 by McLean of Renfrew for the Admirality. The hull is of clinker design, teak planking fastened to oak ribs with copper rooves and with a massive bolted keel and keelson fitted with breasthooks for lifting.
