Botnia Targa 25 in very good condition for sale.
In 2003 a new Volvo Penta KAD300 Six cylinder 24 valve engine was fitted, since that time she has been lightly used through the summer months recording just 270 hours.
Always removed from the water in September/October and laid up on the hard throughout the winter months, returning to her mooring in April or May.
In excellent condition for her years she had benefited from having fitted Floatex carpet on all the teak surfaces in the cabin areas, hence the good condition of the floors and other teak areas. Flat-Top model without fly-bridge, which on these smaller Targa models makes for a more functional vessel with clean classic lines. As a consequence she has the aft bench seat option with cushion.
Other equipment includes; Trim Tabs, bow roller with manual Lewmar winch, anchor package with bruce anchor, galley module with gas hob and sink, Fridge (12v), heads in aft cabin pull out type. Compass, folding table in aft cabin, Furuno chart plotter / GPS, Simrad autopilot, VHF DSC Radio with antenna, Lowrance HDS-9 echo sounder with twin transducers (fitted 2018). She is also kitted with stainless beaching legs, a much sought after option.
As can be seen in the photographs all the upholstery is in excellent condition, both on the bridge and the aft berths.
She has just been freshly antifouled with Trilux 33 with new anodes fitted. The hull and topsides have just been machine polished and all teak sanded and oiled.
Furthermore the engine has just had a major service (August 2021) together with the outdrive, so she is ready to be enjoyed.
It’s not often an early Targa comes on the market in such nice condition with low engine hours, these boats have an immediate following offering the chance of Targa boating at a much lower budget than is normally found.
As you will no doubt know; these boats are known as the 4x4 of the sea, renowned for their legendary sea keeping abilities.
