Here we have for sale my pride and joy, I have owned and ran meerkat for the past 12 years chartering out of weymouth and there really isn’t a bad point I can say about the boat it really is the perfect tool for the job

She is a very fine example and a fully factory completed version of the BW Seacat speed 11. She offers unrivaled sea keeping, when on the move and at anchor. It also returns some of the best fuel consumption figures of any catamaran on the market.

Meerkat is a BW Seacat speed 11 offering masses of gunwhale space, There is a side access door to starboard which allows for easy boarding of passengers and equipment. The wheelhouse is accessed via the aft bulkhead and on the port side is access door for the heads.

Sheltered seating for 4/5 people is available inside as well as under cover seating for 5 on deck.

Galley consists of a Sink with cold water from a 75ltr water tank and 2x hob, microwave as well as ample storage

The helm seat is off Center to Starboard which makes the wheelhouse feel open with very good visibility right round as well as being well positioned for interaction with the finger touch power assisted helm and flexball fly by wire throttles, side window access to throttles as well making it ideal for hauling the anchor

On deck incorporates easily removed stainless storage racking/rod holders (Easily converted to seating or diving kit bench) and bait table.

2x 375 litre fuel Tek tanks


Engines currently on 7300 Starboard Port 9000 (Will increase with use) both engines have been serviced by the same engineer every 250 hrs without fail. Gear box oil, belts and impellers done at 1000hr intervals or annually.
2500 RPM gives a loaded cruise of 15kts and returns a combined fuel burn of 2.4-2.8 litres a mile which does increase to just over 3 litres a mile when heavily fouled.
Sprint speed of 21-22kts

We have a spare brand new engine, gearbox, panel, looms, Props what can all be sold with the boat as a deal.

Self stowing stainless steel anchor cradle makes anchoring and hauling a breeze.

12v system throughout. 2x 140AH batteries each side.

In early 2024 meerkat went for a whole new electronic package costing roughly £16,000

2021 meerkat was sandblasted back to the hull then was re epoxied, this winter I had meerkat moister metered under the water line where she came back perfect.

All code safety gear present and compliant on board. All owned including the liferaft

This boat has been my life for the last 12 seasons and I will be very sad to see her go, she is one of the tidiest and well looked after versions of this boat around and hasn't wanted for anything her entire life. Come and see for yourself!
