Designed primarily as a robust, highly capable commercial workboat, the Cowes Champ features lines from the legendary design team behind the early GRP South Catamarans and the original South Boats offshore windfarm support vessels (WFSVs).
Available as a complete package or as individual assets. Ideal for commercial boat builders, marine fabricators, or a heavy-duty custom project.

Length Overall (LOA): 22 ft 6 inches (6.85m)Beam: 8 ft 5 inches (2.56m)Hull Form: Full-bodied, double-chine displacement hull with a full bow and semi-elliptical stern.Fending Setup: Deep sheer strake running all around the hull, specifically designed to take large, commercial-grade fending.Running Gear & Protection: Deep keel designed with ample space to swing a large-diameter propeller (can accommodate a shallow tunnel if required) with a protective skeg for the stern gear and rudder.

Scantlings / Build Quality: Laid up to Lloyd’s Special Service Craft rules. The hull design is highly versatile and equally suited for replication/building in alloy or steel.Displacement: Engine and ballast displacement designed for over 4 tonnes.Versatile Performance: While engineered for stable displacement speeds with excellent bollard pull, the hull features a relatively flat run aft. At lighter displacements with suitable horsepower, it is fully capable of running at higher, semi-displacement speeds.
The Mould and Hull can be sold together as a package or separately.
