MV Reliant is a converted MFV which has operated as a B&B for 10 years or so, unfortunately she has been abandoned and fallen into disrepair.

The boat is in need of some serious TLC and desperately seeks a new owner who is not afraid of a challenge. Firstly she would need to be slipped, and there are not many places that can handle a boat of this size and weight. Although she was re-engined prior to being decommissioned we are not sure when the engine was last run, therefore please factor in a tow from Troon to a slipway that can handle her (Ardmaleish Boat Building Co Ltd, Bute or Alexander Noble & Sons Ltd, Girvan are two possibilities).

The exterior photos are recent and show that the hull requires plenty of work, the interior photos are from a few years ago when the boat operated as a B&B. The interior is also in need of a bit of a tidy up now.

If the boat does not sell then she will have to be broken up, there is some value in her aluminium superstructure and the engine, however it would be a shame not to save her.
