I hold EFA, PST, PSSR, Short Range Certificate, Advanced Powerboat, Day Skipper Theory, and a clean medical. I’ve got solid hands-on experience working prawn creels along the west coast—working in all weathers: baiting and stacking, shooting creels by hand, making up boxes, storing and landing the catch, and keeping the deck clean and tidy.

Alongside fishing, I’ve also worked on passenger vessels, including ferries, wildlife cruises, and private charters, so I’m confident with both deck work and dealing with the public when needed.

I’ve had formal maritime training through two years of college and, before that, worked as a miner—so I’m no stranger to hard work, long hours, or tough conditions. I’m reliable, practical, and ready to get stuck in.
