The evolution 33 is a great boat, they are a 38 shortened in the mould so have the same high decks, and beam as the 38ft boat with the fuel economy and other running costs of a 33ft boat. This one formerly ‘Galloper’ (to be retained) has been run as a popular charter boat for the last 7 years.
The flush deck can be set up either empty, with the rod rack and fish box stand or with the patriotic seating added. These parts can be added or removed very easily to make her adaptable.
on deck she has two storage holds aft(port and starboard) both are insulated and have drains in case you wish to store fish in them. The centre after hatch allows access to water strainers, fuel filters and rudder post ect. The engine hatch is in the middle of the deck and there is an addition panel to access the front of the engine from the front hatch. There are two built in fuel tanks situated either side of the engine each holds 450l for a combined capacity of 900l giving the vessel a vast range. Ahead of the engine there is another deck hatch and a hold with lots more storage space. There is also a live well on the port side behind the wheelhouse and access to the toilet to the port hand door on the rear of the wheelhouse. The long overhang of the wheelhouse roof affords some shelter from both sun and rain as do the side covers which can be easily pulled down.
inside the wheelhouse she has a small galley on the starboard side inside the door with the helm position ahead of this. To the port side she has two bench seats with storage underneath. Below the foredeck there are 4 good sized bunks and access to the battery compartment as well as more storage.
The boat performs well under power reaching around 12-13knts at 2000rpm 16-18knts at 2200rpm and 23-24knt flat out. cat suggest running this engine at 2300rpm which will put her at 18-20knts but I have only run her between 2000-2200 depending on distance. The boat as a whole has had vast amounts spent on her and is in good working condition. She has been working until recently as a charter boat and could be worked again tomorrow with just a liferaft added. These are great boats with a good build quality and very little timber used to keep maintenance minimal.
Price £55000 including vat.
