Designed and used by port of London authority This was when no expence was spared in the buliding proses This boat is very strongly designed and built and comes with rod and gearbox steering The engine is a 3 cylinder Listerdiesel engine air cooled that offers plenty of power and is very economical to run its what’s known as a plodder but still achieves about 6 of 7 knots subject to tidal conditions It also has a hydraulic capstan that was powered by a hydraulic power pack and proved to be very powerful Sadly the power park stopped working and we was going to install a hydraulic pump on the main engine There is a spare v pulley for that But never got round to it We used the old way and pulled the anchor up by hand This boat was designed and built to to work and operate in a rugged environment.
