Explorer Elite fast bass fishing boat. .

The vessel was on the UK Fishing register, but the previous owner allowed the registration to lapse. Since I purchased the vessel it has undergone a comparison survey by SCMS and requires 6 small items to be verified with the MCA, whereby it should then be accepted back on to the register. The items, as listed by the MCA, are as follows:

1. Fuel line / pipework
 Confirmation. that the fuel line, pipework and associated fittings for the portable petrol tank arrangement comply with the relevant ISO standard and are suitable for the installation
2. Guardrails
 Confirmation.
That the guardrail item identified in MCA's previous correspondence has been addressed, or a clear technical justification for any alternative arrangement.
3. MOB ladder
Confirmation.
That the MOB ladder arrangement has been rectified, is an accepted type, and is permanently attached to the vessel.
4. Emergency steering 
Confirmation. Details of the emergency steering arrangement, including how hydraulic pressure is released and how the arrangement has been demonstrated as effective.
5. Anchor compliance 
Evidence. Confirm compliance of the anchor and cable arrangement, including stamped rating or equivalent confirmation where applicable.
6. FVCA close-out confirmation.

Written confirmation from SCMS that the vessel complies with the applicable construction standards and that the rectification items identified by MCA have been satisfactorily addressed.

The vessel has a Full Category A 10m & under licence (no shellfish), a bass authorisation for hook & line and fixed nets, all the required safety equipment, and it sits on a braked trailer for easy transportation (delivery may be possible at cost).

Due to family commitments I no longer have the time to complete the registration of the vessel, therefore it is offered for sale “as is” for someone else to complete the final stage of the registration process. All correspondence between myself, the SCMS and the MCA can be viewed for verification.

I would prefer to sell the boat, licence and bass authorisation as a complete package; though I would consider selling the boat and bass authorisation without the licence. As the bass authorisation is attached to the boat, they have to be sold together.
