• Sales Description
A well-presented example of the ever-popular John Bennett-designed Fairline 32 Sedan Flybridge motor cruiser. Built between 1972 and 1984, these boats were renowned for their generous and spacious accommodation, gifting the owner a good amount of daily living space for the size of boat. Maverick, a 1978 example, makes an excellent weekend liveaboard or bolt hole for those wanting the escapism that life on the water can bring. She has the benefit of a paid-up mooring until the end of December , and a good inventory for immediate occupation. She is fitted with what are believed to be her original twin Volvo Penta AQ170hp engines, one of which has a suspected cracked head unit. Whilst this does not impede her purpose as a houseboat, she could make an ideal platform for engine replacement, or repair if suitable spares can be found. Both engines have run in the recent past (see video), but will likely need some attention if the boat was required to venture out regularly. Well worth an early viewing - this attractive and tidy 4-6 berth family cruiser presents a very cost-effective weekend getaway with all of the required equipment and services on board. Originating from the late 70s, she boasts a charismatic interior with the warmth of varnished wood plentiful throughout.
