2 x Garmin GPSMap 1222xsv 12” chart plotter/sounders networked with Garmin GMR Fantom 18 radar, Garmin 9 Axis heading sensor & Garmin AIS300 providing MARPA, radar overlay & AIS data.
The plotters share Garmin 3G vision chart data including relief shading & fishing charts.
Sonar is shared across both 1222xsv’s linked to a Garmin GT23M-TM 600W CHIRP mid-band (80-160Khz) & 500W downvu CHIRP (260/455 Khz) for exceptional bait and fish detection.
Both chartplotters/sounders can be operated from the Garmin GRID 20 at the second helm.
A backup P79 600W 200/50Khz transducer is mounted in the hull and wired to connect to any of the Garmin units.
A Furuno GP32 provides DECCA.

Jest is a well built and maintained vessel equipped to a very high standard.

She was completely refitted in August 2017 when she was retired, re-engined, second helm added and electronics renewed.
Since then further work includes:
1. Deck flocoated 2020
2. New fuel system and tanks 2021
3. Chartplotters renewed to larger 12” in 2019.

Jest has been refitted & equipped to fish lines for Bass and pollock/cod/ling. The second helm is essential to that, especially bassing. Buccaneer sockets are wired in for jigging machines or electric reels allowing one man to operate up to three lines.
A 120L GPR removable bait tank connects to a Jabsco Water Puppy deck wash via a tri-valve. Both pumps are protected by a large mesh filter. All water pumps are operated from the deck.

Jest has a large free draining working deck and plenty of locking storage. There are three hatches to the transom locker space for fuel storage and start battery. There are two lockers at the wheelhouse rear bulkhead, one for the domestic battery and the other for storage. There is additional storage up forward. An LED deck light covers the rear deck & a remote search light is mounted over the foredeck.

Electrical:
1. Shore power connection.
2. Dual battery system provides separate engine and domestic batteries with an auto charge relay and Clipper BM-2 battery monitoring system.

Safety: Equipped to meet MCA code of Practice. Valid until July 2026.
