The Alaska 500 XL is a very stable and safe boat which can handle even fairly choppy conditions with ease.
The engine is a 2002 Suzuki four stroke
DF60 which has had regular servicing by either Mixtow marine services near Fowey or Blackdog marine services near Looe.
The engine has recently been serviced by Sirius marine services in Stourport. The engine has always started first time and has never missed a beat. I’ve always used premium fuel.
The auxiliary is a Suzuki four stroke 4hp which I have never used but came with the boat when I bought it.
The boat itself I believe is 1998.
