This Manta Marine Island Cab IC695 has just been completed and is being offered for sale without engines and equipment. This provides a prospective buyer with the opportunity to rig engines and equipment of their choice. Twin 60/70hp engines are more than adequate and would produce approx. 30kts. The design has also been tested with a single engine and performed well. If preferred, we can supply and fit engines and equipment of your choice or recommend competent engineers. Bilge pumps have been installed in the sponsons under the engine wells.

The boat has been built with the deck sitting on a hollow frame which allows for easy under deck rigging. There are easy access points behind the dash and in the stern with pull cords in place. The panel under the gate has not been permanently fixed which will make rigging easier. The seating unit and sink unit inside the cab have access points to the under-floor hollow frame for battery cables. The roof lining is not completely fixed, to allow easy access for wiring. Please note the deck has a temporary protective covering!

The hull was designed and the plugs made by David Burgess who is a legend in the F1 racing boat world. Dave built 48 world championship winners, he is an expert in twin hull design. The IC695 design has been extensively tested in all sea states by Jonathan Jones, Dave’s F1 driver and a keen boat fisherman. The IC695 Island Cab has been rigorously tested in all sea states and proven to be a successful design providing a stable and superbly efficient workboat.

Suitable for multi-purpose use or as fishing boat the Manta Marine Island Cab IC695 offers superb performance and stability with an easy-to-use walk around deck area and an enclosed island cabin for when the weather closes in.

Alasdair Reay at HPI Verification Services designed the GRP hull layup schedule and provided the CE and UKCA certification for our previously completed boats.
