Mermaid are the sole Worldwide mariniser of the JCB Dieselmax range of engines and these naturally aspirated engines are real workhorses. We have supplied many of these engines for main propulsion, but now we have taken the G-Drive version of the engine to produce our own marine generator.

The base engine is used widely used by JCB in their range of construction machinery, is designed and manufactured in Great Britain and is very popular around the world being used in a variety of arduous applications making it the ideal choice for the commercial market.

The generator set is supplied complete with the following standard equipment;

• Sea water cooling system with water cooled exhaust manifold / heat exchanger.
• Gear driven sea water pump
• 12 Volt starter motor and 90Amp alternator
• Mechanical fuel injection system with rotary type injection pump
• EVOTEC Marine generator close coupled, single bearing type.
• Heavy duty steel base frame
• Water cooled exhaust outlet elbow
• Front belt guard
• SMARTGEN control panel
• Owners manual and warranty registration documents for 12 months warranty
