For Sale – Cygnus GM26 ‘Phoebe’.
GRP hull built 1980 fitted out for leisure use and never used commercially. Engine is a superb 86 hp Perkins M92B (year 2007) known for superb reliability and excellent fuel economy.
I bought her in Guernsey last year and she came back across the channel with ease in October and she is now on a mooring in the Percuil River (St Mawes) which is paid for until the end of October 2025. She was antifouled in May 2025.
Vessel is UK VAT Paid.
She requires wood work mainly to the port side gunwale, starboard side aft sampson post and wheelhouse at deck level. This is reflected in the price. Although perfectly seaworthy in her current condition she was bought with the intention of being refurbished however another opportunity has recently presented itself which suits our needs as a family much better.
Deck is sound and is plywood covered in fibreglass.
Survey report available (September 2024), engine fully serviced in September 2024 with a multitude of spares onboard (filters, belts, impellers etc) in preparation for the channel crossing but none were required.
Separate engine and leisure batteries, both on solar panels with independent charge controllers.
Twin GRP fuel tanks built in port and starboard.
Under deck GRP freshwater tank, sink with pump tap (new), 4 burner gas hob and oven, 8kg gas bottle.
