4 Hopper Barges will be available in the next couple of months after the end of a 25 year contract at very short notice.
These vessels were bought as dumb barges and were converted from 1995 onwards and have been well maintained since. Engines have been replaced when necessary and serviced every 500 hours.
Three have been fitted with hydraulic steering systems.
The Pike which was the first to be converted can also be fitted with an excavator for dredging and has a stability calculation done for a 14800 kgs machine. The beams are available with the Pike.
All barges have electric start diesel generators on the deck and also diesel driven deck pumps.
Wheelhouses are basic but all have radiators .

The vessels have been priced as follows
Elver is fitted with a 2023 Doosan 360hp Marine engine £120k
Perch is fitted with a 2010 Cummins 240hp keel cooled engine £100k
Chub is fitted with a 2022 Cummins 240hp keel cooled engine £100k
Pike is fitted with a 2006 Ford Dover 128hp marine engine £80k
