Built in 1989 by Bailie & Boyton, 21 tonne light ship, (overall weight with some fuel and in working condition circa 25T); was used as a fish farm vessel until a few years ago then converted in 2018 to a Multicat by the addition of 2 no. 10m long spud legs with fully removable spud cans.
Atlas crane was fitted in January 2018 and has been regularly serviced and had a new test certificate from February 2022.
Comes with 2 no. aluminium loading ramps which stow across the bow when in transit.
Very versatile boat which can be used for a variety of purposes such as Multicat, landing craft, workboat, fish farm support, diver support, cargo, etc. (subject to local laws and recoding if required).
Was working on various inshore diving / lifting projects until mid-2022.
Coding has now lapsed and will require work / recommissioning (if coding is required).
Hull thickness readings carried out in 2022 And various repairs / maintenance jobs carried out between mid-2022 to now (receipts available).
Recent work –
New mast fabricated and ready for installation (2023).
All buoyancy tanks cleaned out and ready (2023).
Shafts were removed for inspection – one was repaired.
Both props are included but one of the rudders will require remade.
Crane was new in 2017, last tested February 2022.
Engines were both working until May 2022.
Vessel was used with spuds (seen on deck but not coded for use with spuds).
Work required – replace missing rudder, refurbish / replace shafts/props, service engines, new mast to be fitted and wheel house needs re-wired, batteries will need replaced, one of the wheel house windows needs replaced, wheelhouse generally needs refurbished, repairs to fuel tanks need completing.
Currently owned since 2017 and used on the Forth/Loch Lomond, previously chartered to North West Marine on Fish Farm support.
Sold as a project but has had significant spend over 2022/23.
Vessel was transported to Ribs Marine Services in Spring 2022 who have undertaken £8k of works (invoices / list of work available).
Change of company plans moving forward means that we no longer plan to complete the refurbishment and she is available for sale.
Currently available to view on hard standing at Rosneath, Argyll (Ribs Marine yard).
