The gearbox is a Borg Warner hydraulic of 2:1 reduction ratio and drives a 3 bladed left handed prop via a python flexible coupling.

Built by Walter Grenville &Co Ltd., Cardiff.
The boat has a forward wheelhouse with 360 degree visibility. There is a large aft deck with safety rails and scuppers.
Access below the wheelhouse floor is to a two-berth cabin and aft to the engine compartment.
She is divided internally by watertight bulkheads into three compartments, forepeak, engine space and steering compartment.
All structural steelwork was epoxy coated from new.
Two very large (100 gallons in total?) built-in steel fuel tanks are available, but not currently connected.
Professionally rewired 2014 with new starter motor and alternator.
Freeboard: 1.5 m fwd., 0.9 m aft.
