Additional Information:

"The boat with the rope" Romany Lass is a Romany 21’ (No. 69) Round Bilged Fisherman, built in the Gordon Payne Romany Works in Poole, Dorset, bought new from there leaving on the 19th of April 1968 to go to Sandbank on Holy Loch as a yard workboat. Later, amongst others, she was owned twice by Gordon McNair who more recently refurbished her for the second time in about 2021, finishing her in beautiful Utile hardwood. She is powered by a Mercedes OM636 42HP diesel. She will cruise nicely at 5 knots, approximate maximum is 7 Knots. Only just back in the water with anti-foul and hull and boot top refreshed, Oil filter cleaned and fuel filter changed, lift pump serviced and a new oil pressure pick up installed. Running well. She has an “Owen Sails” bespoke made to measure canopy fitted in time for last season, it has five removable windows, the sides can be rolled up depending on conditions so even in the rain you stay dry. Can be folded back and stored and even collapsed down. This addition gives the ability to take her out quickly in most conditions and simply zip her away and maximise the
pleasure time. Comes with back up outboard, 4St, 4HP, plug engine and gear oil changed. Anchor, chain, ropes, lines and fenders. VHF, Garmin depth/fish sounder and GPS location. 2 burner Calor gas cooker and grill. Can be viewed by appointment and will be happy to take questions
