20 years at the fishing, took last 2 years off due to a triple leg break and rehab to stop drinking..... dont see any point in lying as we all know each other.


Im 100% drink free and very handy around the vessel. Most of my time has been spent at the scallops but have spent a good while at the whitefish and prawns also.

Im 44yo.... gym twice a day and back to a fitness more than capable.

I can weld mend any scallop gear but dont ask me to mend a net..... a privilege I've never been shown unfortunately.

I do however give 100% and now ready to get back to sea.

I've fucked up a few jobs in the past because of the drink, no gonna lie it's a fact. But fishing and sontw now im ready to give it a shot again if anyone is fine enough for a trial.

I have all certs including my 16.5...... happy as mate but also happy enough doing away in deck.

At 44 be a better mate than deckie but like I said id just appreciate getting back to sea.

Awaiting eng1 next 2 weeks time and more thwn happy to fill in a trip or if a full time position comes up be great.
