We are seeking experienced Skippers and Handlers to join our civil/marine operations teams in Cork and Clare. These roles are essential to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vessels, pontoons, and the well-being of all crew.
Key Responsibilities:
Skipper Responsibilities
Oversee the overall operation of the vessel, ensuring safety and compliance with maritime regulations
Plan daily tasks and manage both crew and vessel
Ensure vessels are seaworthy and maintain all required equipment
Conduct regular safety checks and respond effectively to emergencies
Lead daily marine operations, including docking, mooring, and vessel preparation
Handler (Deck Crew) Responsibilities
Assist the skipper in navigation support and routine safety checks
Maintain the vessel and ensure any required repairs are identified and reported promptly
Support the skipper during marine operations, ensuring crew safety
Assist with docking, mooring, onboarding, and general deck duties
Uphold marine safety procedures at all times
Required Experience & Skills
Marine experience is essential
Experience working with pontoons is preferred
Strong understanding of marine safety procedures
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
