Additional Information:
Very heavily built at nearly 6 tonnes. She was a special build for one of the Tamar workforce in 1992 with extra reinforcement added and a little wider than others at 3.10m and 8.10m overall.
Perfect single hander, fantastic deck space, I self shoot fleets of 45 and move 2 at a time without even covering the engine hatch, could probably manage 3 !
Stainless rollers and large baiting table, lightweight stainless frame added for tubing prawns which just lifts off the side easily if required when landing.
The aluminium engine hatch is raised a little and easily walked upon when working. There are twin aluminium shooting ramps at the stern which lift to access the hydraulic tank, ropes anchor etc.
The double A frame is in stainless and extremely heavily built, it supported a large mast and landing derrick which I removed as it wasn't needed but that could easily be replaced if required, there is also a Hercules hatch further aft to access the running gear. New cutlass and packing just done too.
The whole deck is covered in 20mm industrial rubber matting delivering fantastic grip, protection and comfort in the wellies.
New hydraulic steering ram with new brackets made and all hoses replaced up to helm position. Steel reinforcements have just been fabricated and fitted for keel protection with new bolts and glassing and new engine beds in steel just been fitted too.
All new wiring below deck with 2 isolators fitted and a new split charge relay in there, I've also just replaced the seacock with a stainless one and the adjoining water hoses. All work here done by Arisaig Marine.
Macleod of Rassay 1.5 tonne hauler runs off the engine. Ford 2.5di 60hp engine has just been replaced as the last one was complaining and I put a new bell housing on the PRM 260 gearbox, Everything runs sweetly and economy is excellent, she will run all day on just 15 litres.
A great sea boat and she sure looks better than any girlfriend that I had before 1992!
I took her out of the water last summer to do all these jobs and it's taken far longer than expected with covid and busy boatyards, mechanics etc and now she's all ready for action but unfortunately I am not. During time layed up I have a new business idea that I'd like to pursue now for a wee change of scenery so have put her up on here and hopefully she'll be off to a good home and we'll be parting company after 10 fine years together.
Mobile sometimes ain't too great but you can try and I'll get back to you when I get your details, I check email most days.
Thanks for looking and happy fishing.
