After 17 years dedicated work from just one man, the time has come to find someone, or a team of enthusiasts, who will take over a +16yr old trading shellfish purification company, Ltd since 2012, with registered trademark, and become directors of a not for profit CIC that focuses on the storage and growth of the unique native oyster, both with websites and sales channels, but have been lacking sales in past year due to owners health. There is an excellent opportunity for the businesses to open new markets in domestic and hospitality markets in the UK and abroad, and shellfish supply comes from a very unique fishery.

If the interested party wishes to remain on the Fal Estuary, Cornwall, the 2 containers will need relocating from Mylor Harbour (sale does not include the current location lease, but could 'potentially' be discussed), the CIC's unique aquaculture site lease is currently available, and is used for native oysters, although could easily be a mussel or seaweed farm, however, all equipment could be relocated anywhere

20ft Shipping Container (2nd container in the YouTube video below)- Fully Approved Purification Centre, with 5x TMC single tank depuration tanks, full electrics from a 16a supply, 3750 oysters/450kg mussel capacity every two days, could be used for scallops/crab/lobster storage - the unit is a little tired, but nothing a small revamp wont sort out

20ft Shipping Container Hatchery (3rd Container in the YouTube video below) - Registered Fish Farming Accredited, full electrics from a 16a power supply, built in 2021, good condition, comes with equipment needed to hatch and raise larvae, including live algae feed lab, could do with a RAS water system (the hatchery has been mothballed for a year and packed up, so not currently as shown in the photo/video, but all equipment shown is part of the sale)

10x IBC 1000l water storage, some sealed, some open top

Aquaculture Trays - hundreds if not thousands of various trays, various mesh sizes for various size shellfish

Aquaculture Equipment - trays, floats, lines, currently on location

252x11m Registered Aquaculture Site, Habitat Regulations Assessment/Biosecurity Measure Plan in place, with a lease until at least 2029, but probably handing in lease in mid 2025 unless a buyer is found, meaning the site will be deregulated and become harbour moorings

Vehicle - a very low milage Volvo FL6 'urban' lorry, with 30ft trailer, ideal for short haulage trips and in areas with limited access, had new brake system 10 years ago, but has sat unused for 4 years, looks tired, needs TLC, but when running drives very very well

This advert shows the equipment and assets built during 17 years work of one man, but the businesses require a team for them to work properly, sadly for health reasons it is no longer possible to give the industry the time it needs, and while equipment may be tired and need some investment, it is essentially a fully approved and licensed operation, full accounts available for both, and losses carried forward are potentially tax free profits in the future, giving a great 'turn key' opportunity to the right investor.
