Sylvan is circa 1980 build by versatility of rye - boats well known for seaworthiness and strength. Is suitable for day cruising or fishing. Was also great for my young family on days out. Her specification raised to a high level during ownership

2022/23 full refit of the aft deck area, inc new deck hatches etc.

Copper coated hull and gel coated 2019 - she was stripped back completely to GRP.

She is fitted with the extended wheelhouse comprising of an enclosed steering position with two helm seats and a saloon area below.
The saloon has good use of space seating 5/6 people (or used as 2 bunks), cooker, hob and sea toilet.. Lots of storage in this area as well.

The wheelhouse is fully enclosed from the weather by two sliding doors. Cabin heating is provided by a diesel air heater. Access to the engine is via hatches below the steering positions

The aft deck area will seat 4/6 with more storage in the lockers.

Sylvan is well equipped for controls, gauges and Nav electronics, also a very nice brass Celestial type compass.

All usual safety / firefighting / seagoing equipment comes complete with sale

The engine has has main / oil and transmission coolers which have all been stripped and rebuilt - also new water cooled exhaust manifold fitted 2021. . Displacement hull will run happily for long voyages 6-8 knots tide depending returning approx 10 litres per hour.

She is a pretty boat & performs notably well at sea. A full survey was completed on her in 2023 and is available on request
