Ex RNLI Boston Whaler Outrage 20. A-Class Lifeboat, re-fitted with Mariner F150hp Fourstroke.
A-513 Boston Whaler ‘Sam and Iris Coles’ was the last rigid inshore lifeboat in RNLI service stationed at Poole Harbour. During this time she completed 347 shouts and saved the lives of 102 people!
At retirement she was fitted with a Yamaha 75 2-Stroke, now just been upgraded with a Mariner F150 XL 4-Stroke. The original binnacle console was replaced with a smaller Atlantic console at time of de-commissioning as A-513 became the club water taxi for Poole harbour up until 2012.
I had brought it with the intention of fully restoring her, as being a genuine Boston Whaler the hull is extremely solid with incredible seakeeping as you would expect from this class of vessel.
Its available for sale now as the complete package of boat and engine, but I will also consider splitting if anyone wanted to purchase the just the boat only.
I also have a SBS roller trailer available. Fantastic sea boat as you would imagine, and totally unique opportunity to acquire an original Boston Whaler steeped in history and built to RNLI Spec.
