Karina Olsen was originally a North Sea fishing vessel and then used for dive charters and survey work. She became a liveaboard vessel and thence with a chequered history.
She is Danish construction, heavily built, oak on oak sister framed construction with deck of redwood pine. Double stringers of oak also.

Wooden decks need attention in way of plank replacement and sealing

This vessel has been put under the powers of the Penzance Harbour. To the successful applicant we request a £10,000 bond which will give the new owner two months to carry out remedial work to the vessel in order to make her ready for sea. Once departed Penzance the bond will be repaid minus quay dues.
